How to Install libsidl-dev software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

libsidl-dev software package provides Scientific Interface Definition Language (SIDL) C(++)/FORTRAN runtime devel, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install libsidl-dev

libsidl-dev is installed in your system.

Make ensure the libsidl-dev package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libsidl-dev *

You will get with libsidl-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
